  1. TITLE: 941208 SHUTDOWN FAILS UNDER OS/2 2.11 OR WARP DUE TO LOTUS

  4. DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
  5.     In some cases, after installing CCMail Client on a system running
  6.     WARP 3.0, the user will be unable to successfully shutdown.
  7.  
  8. SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION:
  9.     CCmail is aware of this and the 1.04 build will address this
  10.     issue.

  12. DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
  13.     To work around this problem:
  14.         Make sure the user either has their CCMail folder open, or
  15.         places a shadow of any object within the CCMail folder on the
  16.         OS/2 desktop, prior to shutdown.
  17.  
  18.     ALSO, word from a Lotus support tech is that if the IN BOX has a
  19.     shadow on the Desktop, then the problem will not occur.
  20.  
  21.     This problem will be addressed in the version 1.04 of CCmail.
  22.     The most current version of CCMail Client is 1.03 and 1.04 is
  23.     scheduled to be available early 1995.
